My Story

I was born in the Midwest and spent my childhood in the United Kingdom. I studied Physics at Imperial College London and later completed graduate studies in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation.

I began my career in investment banking before building my own advisory practice. That experience shaped how I think about accountability, stewardship of resources, and long-term planning - principles that also matter in local government.

In 2013, my wife and I chose to make Westlake our home. We are raising six children, all of whom attend Westlake Academy. Like many Westlake families, we are deeply invested in the long-term strength of this community.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, fitness, and mountaineering. In 2019, I took my two oldest sons on an expedition to Everest Base Camp. That experience reinforced the values of preparation, resilience, and perspective that guide my public service.

My approach to public service is simple: accountability, long-term planning, and protecting the integrity of our institutions. Those principles guide both my professional work and my service to Westlake.
